People We Love!

George Washington Smith, (February 22, 1876 – 1930), was an American Architect and painter. He is noted particularly for his work around Santa Barbara, California, and for popularizing the Spanish Colonial Revival style in early 20th Century America.

THINGS WE LOVE!!!

Alexander Girard's wooden dolls that were recently re-issued by the Vitra Design Museum. Girard first created these dolls in 1963 when designing artwork for his Santa Fe home. Each doll is individually packaged in its own wooden gift box.

Here is a great desk organizer by Vincent Mallory of Sueno Design. Simple yet elegant.

This calculator by Amadana is by far one of the coolest looking calculator's on the market. Had I had this in High School I would not have done so bad in Calculus!

Our First Post!!!

Here we are! We are so happy to be launching our new blog "the Designers Notebook". We even made a cake and invited a few friends over to help celebrate! We cant wait to show you everything that makes The Randy Franks Studio excited about design.
